Welcome!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to take some time and say, "Heeeeey!" and, "WELCOME!"

I am really excited about this new adventure and want to have some fun!
Being apart of virtual worlds since 2007, I have seen a lot of changes to both IMVU and Second Life. From the design of the programs right down to how avatars look and interact. Now, I'm not going to do this daily. I have tried countless times to keep up with blogs daily and it just never seems to pan out. But I will say that you can expect updates frequently, such as 2-6 times a week. Depending on what real life has in store for me.

Now, I do want to clear up a couple misunderstandings about both Second Life and IMVU. They are not games. There are no quests or missions. No winners or losers, no points, etc. They are virtual worlds and I love them both! You can meet so many people from all around the world that you wouldn't be able to meet otherwise. Yes, there are dangers in anything in life, but at least in a virtual reality, you can mute, block and protect yourself.

Both worlds offer many different things, and they both offer a lot of the same things such as socialization, fashion, music, clubs, ability to create and make actual money (yes, you heard right. You CAN make money creating for IMVU and Second Life). They both have their own "in-world" currency. Second Life has Lindens and IMVU has credits. Both worlds offer you to be able to be whoever and whatever you want to be. Whether it's a furry or a vampire or a cat or truck, you can be anything you put you mind to!

My avatars names are:

Second Life: CherryVodka2182

IMVU: SinfulCherryV

As you can see, both are very different and I love that about each world. You can look how you want. Of course I have spent several more years on IMVU, so my avatar is going to look better than my avatar on Second Life. However, both of my avatars are beautiful if only to me, but that's okay! My main goal for this blog is to show the beauty in both worlds and show my appreciation for both. I have met many people in both worlds and I have learned a lot. If you want to learn more about either or both virtual worlds, just send me a message and I will guide you the best I can (since I am still a little new to Second Life despite being apart of the community since 2011, I haven't really been on until recently).

On that note, I'll talk to you next post!
Welcome to Virtual Fashionista, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
